FL Interactive is the digital arm of The Football League.
The Football League is the world’s original league competition – established in 1888, when Queen Victoria was still on the throne. William McGregor, a Scottish draper and director of Aston Villa wrote to the 12 founder members with the idea and The Football League was born, setting the template for every football league around the globe.
Made of three competitive divisions the Championship, League 1 and League 2 and 72 clubs across England and Wales, The Football League is renowned as the largest, fully professional league in the World. The Football League also manages three main competitions – the Coca-Cola Football League, the Carling Cup and the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy while administering reserve team and youth football for its member clubs.
Attendances are at their highest level for 50 years, with an impressive 16 million attendances for each of the last five seasons and the Championship is now the 4th most watched league in Europe ahead of Series A.
The Football League has over 90 televised live matches on Sky Sports and the BBC as well as a wealth of highlights and support programming bringing League football to 118 million viewers every season.
